Wolskie Regionalia is our digital archives of the district’s local resources created by the Public Library in the Wola District of the Capital City of Warsaw.

The project is an effort to popularize cultural and historic heritage of the Wola district of Warsaw as well as preserve the unique and unknown so far contents of our historical resources and make them available to the public. Wolskie Regionalia offers you online access to the scans of photos, memoirs, postcards and publications connected with our district. The materials found their way to our collection from private albums owned by the residents of Wola district as well as the organizations based in our area. By doing so, the collection emersion into the history of our district and retells it from a local’s standpoint, and thus most authentic and immediate account. With the help from local residents, and actually from anyone who was and is willing to share their private records connected with the district of Wola - we were able to commence the project, and at present we can further the build-up of core base of the district resources of the area being our ‘little homeland’.
